Kimbos beard wanted its own contract

Its not Jimmy Durantes nose but Kimbo Slices beard is getting pretty big for its britches. The legendary Durante actually took out an insurance policy on his legendary schnoz; Kimbo Slice needs to do the same for the beard. He loves that beard so much that his management actually tried to get a protection clause put in his Ultimate Fighter 10 contract according to UFC president Dana White:”His manager kept saying if anybody messes with his beard while hes sleeping, theres gonna be some big problems,” White told Mike Chiappetta from Spike TV. “That was like a big deal in the whole contract negotiation.”White was at a loss for words for Kimbos manager Icey Mike 2:10 mark:”I cant guarantee nobodys gonna try to shave his beard off. How the hell can I guarantee that?”

Floyd Mayweather x Triple H

Floyd “Money” Mayweather always draw attention, whether it be in or out of the ring, or when he does his ring walk.

With his upcoming fight against Juan Manuel Marquez approaching fast, he announced this week that the WWE’s Triple H will accompany him to the ring on Saturday (September 19) when he fights at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Mayweather says he couldn’t think of anyone better to escort him for his return to the sport.

“Triple H is one of the greatest guys in the world and represents a whole universe of WWE fans that appreciate what he does,” the undefeated boxer said. “He and his stature are huge and I can’t think of a better person to escort me to the ring for my return to boxing.”

“It is an honor to walk the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world back into the ring,” said Triple H. “Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather has shown WWE tremendous support and it is my pleasure to return the favor this Saturday by standing at his side as he defeats Marquez in what I am sure will be boxing’s fight of the year.”

Mayweather is known for a long list of creative ring walks including past performances by 50 Cent and his former “Dancing With the Stars” seasonmates Helio Castroneves, Wayne Newton and Mark Cuban. Other memorable walks included being carried to the ring while standing aloft a Roman Emperor’s throne and brought to the ring by a six-man drawn chariot.

Always accompanied by music of his own choosing, Mayweather’s past selections have used Bruce Springstein’s “Born in the U.S.A.,” 50 Cent’s “Straight to the Bank” and “Whip Your Head Boy,” Jay-Z’s “What More Can I Say,” Queen’s “We Will Rock You” and “Another One Bites the Dust,” just to name a few. Saturday night’s selection is still a mystery though.

Mayweather and Marquez goes down on Saturday at the MGM, but will also air on HBO Pay-Per-View. VIA ballerstatus.com
